Anyone searching for an elliptical trainer review is no doubt looking for a full body workout. That’s pretty much the difference between exercising with a treadmill as opposed to an elliptical trainer.

While they both offer excellent cardiovascular workouts, the elliptical trainer has an advantage, in my opinion, because it also offers a workout for the upper body as well as the lower body.

While it’s true that treadmills are more popular than ellipticals, the sale of ellipticals is rising at a faster rate as they grow in popularity.

Elliptical trainers are relatively new on the exercise scene but if you have ever been to a gym or health club that has at least semi-updated equipment then you know how popular these machines are with the members.

Both types of exercise equipment are outstanding for the cardiovascular system, improve circulation and help build bone density. As any elliptical trainer review would tell you, there are certain features that some machines possess that others don’t.

Examples of this include your choice of preprogrammed workouts and some even have audio and video enhancements to entertain users while they exercise. Of course, these things are not standard but rather add-ons that you pay additional money for.

And of course, some are built better than others and that is absolutely reflected in the price. But when all is said and done the elliptical trainer is basically the same no matter what the make or model.

They offer a low impact workout that takes the stress and strain off of the knees, ankles and back while offering an outstanding upper and lower body workout for the major muscle groups and cardiovascular system.
