I took a big, huge, massive sigh of relief today.

Finally… the FDA did something right when it comes to bogus “magic” diet-fatburn pills.

A panel of experts reviewed Vivus Inc.’s new wonder-pill “Qnexa” today.

They gave it the thumbs-down.

Why?

Oh… pesky little reported side-effects like… (are you ready for this?)…

     Heart Attacks
Stroke
Increased Risk of Suicide (yikes!)
Memory/Concentration Loss

You know… “minor” stuff like that.

GEEZ. What the hell are these drug companies thinking?

Oh, right…

     Quick-Fix =
Big-Bucks

Got it.

So, I am going to believe that YOU are much smarter than the morons who tried to get this drug past the FDA.

I’m going to assume you want a solution to this obesity pandemic and your own fatloss issues (if you have them) that do NOT involve risking your life for a thinner you.

“Oh, Marge… she looks so thin in her casket…”

THIS IS NOT A GOOD EULOGY! : )

Listen: I get it. I really do.

I’m an athlete and we are always looking for tricks to help increase our performance. But your body is simply too smart for these fatloss-pills people are trying to pass off as “a break-through medical discovery.”

Nonsense… more like heart-breaking medical waste of time.

One day… perhaps even in my lifetime… someone will invent a chemical that actually works to shed bodyfat without harming the body. That will be a great day for all of us.

Even so, I can all but promise you that this chemical will have its nasty side-effects and/or be limited in duration or power.

Nothing, repeat NOTHING you can pop in your mouth will give you the JOY that managing your dietplan and bodyweight can give you.

NOTHING!

It’s one of the greatest feelings in the world.

And here’s a fantastic clue for you: The reason we want to be thin is because of the FEELING it gives us. Most everything we do is based on feelings.

Quick-fixes negate the most powerful thing about feelings: Earning the right to have them!

Think of it this way: Would you feel more alive and powerful if you climbed a mountain or if you took a helicopter ride to the summit?

Sure, the helicopter is easy… but which is more personally rewarding?

Think of your own body transformation goals as your personal mountain to climb.

No helicopters… just really good guides (I volunteer) and solid climbing tools (like a great real-world dietplan, solid workouts that work WITH your schedule, and realistic but exciting goals.)

Your goals will become your base camps along your summit of your personal journey to the best you possible.

Color me silly, but I think that sounds FAR more empowering and rewarding that popping pills.

As you probably know I wrote one of the top books in the world on “real-world” weighttloss (spelled that way so the spambox won’t eat your email… : ) I made this dietary System as easy as possible… but NO plan is “easy” and there is NO quick-fixes out there without serious pricetags.

That said, I have some “rebel tricks” to share with you today… and they won’t put you six feet under before your time.

Just click on the page below and then click on “Articles”… then you’ll see it. It’s the first article, “3 Diet Secrets Revealed”.

You can’t sell this stuff in a bottle… but it works to get the bodyfat off and keep it off.

P.S. If you pick up my dietplan (on the article page above) you’ll find in the Member’s Area three supplements that actually DO work to help you burn-off-fat… but they do not work like magic.

#1 Don’t Skip Breakfast

The morning meal jump starts your metabolism and helps to put a stop to eating too much later throughout the day. A cup of coffee doesn’t count – the caffeine and additional sugar will offer you a little bit of energy and control your appetite for a little despite the fact that it is certain to back fire into extreme cravings and you will be much more likely to overeat later on. The first meal of the day ought to include complex carbohydrates like whole grain (granola or oatmeal), along with some food that contains protein and fat (low-fat yogurt or milk), will keep your energy levels constant and your cravings under control.

#2 Eat more often

Get into the habit of eating every three to four hours or at a minimum of four times daily. Eating regularly stabilizes blood sugar, while blood sugar drops too low you desire to eat…a lot. By keeping your blood sugar even you will be able to dominate your hunger and keep you metabolic rate elevated. When you go lots of hours without eating your body will compensate by slowing your metabolism down to preserve energy…this outcome hurts your weight loss efforts.

#3 Eat protein at every meal

Protein can help to reduce your appetite, it takes more energy and time to process, as a result you are full longer than eating carbohydrates alone. Research shows that consuming more protein is able to help you lose weight without decreasing calories. Try these protein suggestions: turkey on whole wheat; hummus and pita; vegetarian chili; fruit and nuts; or protein snack bars that should contain 12 or more grams of protein.

#4 Don’t Snack

Many of us grab a snack for fast energy while we are feeling tired. But do not exchange true hunger with exhaustion. If you are feeling drained go for a 15-20 minute rapid walk. This will raise your heart rate and offer you a boost of energy. Follow it up with a huge glass of cold water. If you are truthfully hungry have a snack that contains complex carbs and protein like; whole wheat crackers and peanut butter or cheese.

#5 Consume enough for your body’s needs

Consuming too little will slow your body’s metabolism the same exact way eating too infrequently does. If you want to lose extra weight, don’t slash your calories too radically. Instead, cut out a few of the unnecessary foods in your diet plan – foods like soda, juice, packaged goods or candy. Processed meals are more often than not high in extra fat and empty calories and very low in nutrition, minerals and fiber.

Follow this tips to increase your metabolism, burn fat, and get abs fast.

Exercise ball sizes can make a huge difference in your workout since you are using them in various positions when exercising. While smaller balls can definitelly improve the effect of certain exercises and larger balls can provide support to your body weight if you have a bad back, it will matters a lot to choose the right ball depends on your personal height and size of arm.

In using your height in determining the right exercise ball sizes, the equipment should be level or slightly above the knees. The best way to size up the exercise ball is by sitting on it. When doing this, bend your knees at a 90-degrees angle, and your thighs shoud be level with the floor. Find out your height and check which size you should try first.

The following simple chart will help you to find the right exercise ball size depending on your height.

Height

Recommended ball size

Under 4′8″

45 cm

4′8” to 5′3”

55 cm

5′4” to 5′10

65 cm

5′10 to 6′4

75cm

Sitting position is the best positition to check if the new ball is for appropriate height. At an angle of 90-degrees, compared to your knees your hips are level or slightly higher. When the exercise ball is too small, you might compromise the position of your hips and pelvis when sitting on it. On the other hand, a ball that is too large will not provide opportunities for your feet to touch the ground, putting you in an unstable position. that is why it is important to achieve the right ball in order to have the right workout.

There is another way to determint the right exervise ball size is to calculate the length of your arms. Since the length of your leg may vary from that of other people, the arm span can accurately measure the right ball for you.

If the exercise ball will be used for several aerobic exercises and need to hold onto it, the arms cam also provide a better fit for your situaation. However, using this methhod might be a bit difficult (and require more time) as most people usually have more knowledge of their height than their arm span.

If you prefer arm span to determine the right exercise ball for you, this chart will help you find the correct size.

Arm Length

Recommended ball size

22″ to 25-1/2″

26″ to 31-1/2″

Many short people have issues with their shortness. They may find they have a lack of self confidence due to not being tall and it can become quite troublesome. It is at this stage that they normally search out methods for getting taller. There are many ways to try to grow taller but not all of these methods are safe. Before trying any such method out, it is best to carry out thorough research beforehand. It is not advisable to take steroids or other medications to increase your height as the risks can sometimes outweigh the benefits.

A lack of self-confidence sometimes leads people to hunch over, giving them the appearance of being shorter than they really are. They think that by hunching down, they can make themselves less noticeable but unfortunately this can make them look even shorter. Some people look taller than they really are because of their good posture. As adjusting the posture has the effect of stretching the spine, bone growth is therefore encouraged.

Having a good positive attitude towards any natural attempts at increasing your height can also help. Exercising can increase your height as it stretches the muscles and encourages growth of bones. By continuing with a positive attitude while exercising, you will feel better and the longer you do these stretching exercises, the more chance your body will have to grow.

Some types of clothing also give an illusion of being taller. And on the opposite side of the spectrum, other types of clothes give the appearance of making you shorter. You have to learn which clothes will better emphasize your body . Don’t forget that high heeled shoes can also make you a few inches taller. Notice: Visit the link to find more information on increasing height: how to become taller

There are many internet websites which will give simple instructions on the best exercises to do in order to help increase growth and also, diets which will encourage the bones to grow. And don’t forget, there is no reason to turn to the more drastic measures to increase your height when there are adequate natural methods available.
