NordicTrack treadmills are some of the finest pieces of exercise equipment available on the market. And I should know, I use them just about every day at my local health club. NordicTrack makes treadmills that are designed for commercial use, which means rehabilitation centers, gyms and health clubs, and treadmills for the home. They are manufactured by Icon Health and Fitness Inc and they are priced starting just under $1000 and can go as high as $5000.

NordicTrack treadmills use a patented running surface called a Reflex Deck which flattens out when the user’s foot makes impact on the surface of the treadbelt. The result is that more of the impact is absorbed and dissipated and therefore less stress and strain are put on the feet, knees and hips. Let’s take a look at the various series of treadmills that NordicTrack has to offer.

C Series

The C Series have DurX commercial motors with 300 pound deck capacity. The T7 si treadmill and the T9 ci feature 2.25 HP AND 2.5 horsepower motors respectively. Each model has a 20 inch wide tread and features the Intermix Acoustics sound system.

Elite Series

The Elite Series includes the 1500 and 7500 models with a 350 lb. weight capacity, a 20″ x 60″ commercial treadbelt and a 3.0 hp motor for the 1500 model and a 3.5 hp motor for the 7500 model. The 7500 model also includes a 7 inch flatscreen TV built into the console.

Reflex Series

The Reflex Series is ideal for those looking for a running surface with extra shock absorbing ability. NordicTrack treadmills states that these treadmills can store 38% of the impact that you would otherwise feel while running outdoors. The Reflex Series includes the Apex 4500 and the Reflex SR.

A Series

The A Series includes the A2350 and the A 2550 treadmills. Each has a 20″ x 55″ treadbelt and can support in excess of 300 pounds weight load. They also include the Interplay Universal MP3 Dock.

Incline Series

You’d be hard-pressed to get a better workout than what you could find on an incline treadmill and that’s where the NordicTrack Incline Series comes in to play. You control the incline settings from 0% to 40% with the Incline Trainer X3 2.8 hp motor and Incline Trainer X5 3.0 hp motor.

Viewpoint Series

The Viewpoint Series have 7″ flatscreen cable and DVD ready TVs built into the consoles. The Viewpoint 3200 treadmill and the Viewpoint 3600 treadmill TO 20″ x 55″ treadbelts and a 350 pound weight capacity on the running track.

Freemotion Commercial Series

The Freemotion Commercial Series includes the Freemotion t7.3 and the Freemotion t7.5 each with a 3.5 hp motor, 22″ x 60″ running deck, lifetime warranty on the motor and frame, 10 warranty on parts and a 2 year warranty on labor.

As you can see there are a great many choices available for NordicTrack treadmills. In the physical fitness world NordicTrack is recognized as a leading manufacturer of exercise equipment and has earned a well-deserved reputation as being a trusted brand name that has garnered loyalty for the quality products that they produce.

There is little doubt that NordicTrack treadmills are some of the most respected pieces of exercise equipment on the market today. NordicTrack is manufactured by Icon Health and Fitness, Inc. and are priced in range between $1000 and $4000.

The NordicTrack treadmill features everything you need from a top rate piece of physical fitness equipment to accomplish your goals whether they be for weight-loss, cardiovascular fitness, muscle strengthening, or any combination thereof.

Outstanding cushioning on a large, sturdy running deck, coupled along with state-of-the-art computerized consoles are what these treadmills are known for. Every model is iFit compatible which means that you can download new workouts from the Internet directly into the onboard Nordictrack computer.

One of the many problems with treadmills is that they fail to properly absorb the impact that the runner feels when using them. That is not the case with NordicTrack which uses a reflex deck technology that absorbs the impact and greatly reduces strain on the feet, knees and joints. The surface actually flattens out when contact is made with the feet and then springs back into shape effectively dissipating the stress.

In addition to the state-of-the-art running deck the NordicTrack treadmill also has a heart monitor which monitors your pulse and heart rate allowing you to optimize your workouts while continually monitoring your vital signs for a safe workout.

NordicTrack treadmills feature a 3 year warranty on the motor, 2 year warranty on the individual parts and a 1 year warranty on labor. All models also feature a running deck that can be set at an incline by adjusting the controls on the console.
